Chocolate Bar Dessert with galataki Chocolate Milk

Ingredients
For the Base
- 120 g Oreo-type cookies (without filling, crushed)
- 50 g hazelnuts (toasted)
- 60 g butter (melted)
For the Chocolate Layer
- 500 ml galataki Chocolate Milk Charalambides Christis
- 300 ml Charalambides Christis Dairy Cream
- 80 g couverture chocolate
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 50 g sugar
- 50 g cornstarch
- A pinch of salt
- 1 tsp liquid vanilla
Instructions
- In a bowl, crush the Oreos and hazelnuts, mix with melted butter, and press into a pan to form the base. Chill for 20 minutes.
- In a saucepan, add all the ingredients except the couverture chocolate. Stir continuously until the mixture thickens.
- Once set, add the couverture chocolate and stir until melted and smooth.
- Pour over the chilled base, smooth the surface, and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
- Cut into bars, sprinkle with pistachios, and serve chilled.
