One Year of Active Participation by Charalambides Christis in the Protection of Children’s Rights
Charalambides Christis, within the framework of its programme of practical support and social solidarity “SYMMETOCHI,” and in collaboration with the Office of the Commissioner for the Protection of Children’s Rights, took an active role in the largest nationwide awareness campaign ever held in Cyprus to promote children’s rights.
The collaboration began in September 2018 under the slogan #ThinkRight and concluded with great success at the end of September 2019. During this period, six types of Charalambides Christis fresh milk were used as a vehicle for information. For 365 days, 11 fresh milk packages carried messages highlighting 10 children’s rights recognised by the United Nations, delivering them to households across Cyprus.
In this way, the fresh milk packages became ambassadors of a positive message, reminding Cypriot consumers every day that understanding children’s rights is the only way to secure a better future. Because nothing is more rewarding than seeing more children smiling, the Charalambides Christis fresh milk packaging helped spread the message of children’s rights across the entire island.
More specifically, over 30,000,000 packages of Charalambides Christis fresh milk consistently conveyed the message that all children have rights and that adults have a responsibility to protect them.
