Charalambides Christis, with the contribution of the Welfare Benefits Management Service, announced the launch of the campaign “Milk for Every Child in Cyprus 2026” during a press conference held on Thursday, 20 November 2025, at the Cultural Workshop of Agioi Omologites.
This innovative social initiative aimed to support vulnerable families with children through the provision of free fresh milk starting from 1 December 2025.
The initiative “Milk for Every Child” represented an important step towards the transformation of corporate social responsibility, utilising modern tools that enhance the effectiveness of social support.
Through the contribution of the Welfare Benefits Management Service and the social initiatives of Charalambides Christis, targeted social support mechanisms were created, laying the foundations for a modern and flexible CSR system. Within the framework of the campaign, Charalambides Christis offered free fresh milk to families most in need. The provision was made through vouchers distributed by the Welfare Benefits Management Service and redeemable at selected retail outlets across Cyprus.
In his address, the President of Charalambides Christis, Mr Alexis Charalambides, emphasised that since 1945, milk has remained a symbol of life, care and hope for the company. In times of difficulty, social responsibility is not a choice for Charalambides Christis — it is part of its identity.
The Head of the Welfare Benefits Management Service, Mr Ioannis Vasileiadis, noted that the initiative “Milk for Every Child” had a meaningful social impact, supporting children and families in need. He described it as an important and humane step towards a fairer, more compassionate and socially united Cyprus. Closing his remarks, he expressed sincere appreciation to Charalambides Christis for its tangible social contribution, highlighting the initiative as an example of how targeted actions can deliver multiple benefits to society.
