The largest dairy company in Cyprus, Charalambides Christis as well as the Cyprus Olympic Committee, have signed a sponsorship cooperation agreement, lasting until the end of 2024, in which the "Paris 2024" Olympic Games will take place. Charalambides Christis has joined the sponsorship program of COC as a "Silver Partner", and together with COC, they will march on the road to "Paris 2024", contributing by financially supporting the fulfilment of COC's goals, as well as supporting the athletes while preparing for the Olympics.
In the context of the sponsorship cooperation, a COC delegation led by President Georgios Chrysostomou visited the headquarters of CHARALAMBIDES CHRISTIS in Nisou and met with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of "CHARALAMBIDES CHRISTIS", Mr. Alexis Charalambides. The COC delegation was accompanied by the leading champions, Alexandros Poursanidis (Track and Field), Stylianos Christodoulou (Volleyball), Ilias Georgiou (Gymnastics), Giorgos Balartzisvili (Judo), Nikolas Antoniou (Swimming), and Stefanos Nikolaidis (Shooting). Also, Administrative Officers, Giorgos Korellis and Giorgos Panagidis as well as Press Officer Nikos Sofiopoulos were present. On behalf of Charalambides Christis, Mr. Marios Kostantinou, CEO and Mrs. Soteroula Soteriou, Director of Marketing and Corporate Image of the Company were present at the signing of the agreement.
This cooperation lasting until the end of 2024, seals the excellent relations of the two parties in the best possible way and confirms the policy of Charalambides Christis, for a practical contribution to the society and to the sports of Cyprus. The well-known Cypriot dairy industry, one of the most powerful industries in the country, is internationally recognized and exports to more than 32 countries, being the largest exporting company in Cyprus.
The president of COC, Mr. Georgios Chrysostomou, commenting on the collaboration with Charalambides Christis, expressed his thanks and satisfaction for the agreement, noting the following: "The support we receive from the private initiative of our sponsorship programs such as the collaboration with Charalambides Christis is of great importance, the largest food industry in Cyprus.’’ We promise that this collaboration will prove the best possible use for the benefit of our athletes".
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of "Charalambides Christis", Mr. Alexis Charalambides, noted: "It is my great pleasure to be here today with you.
