“NO ONE WITHOUT MILK”: This year's social initiative by Charalambides Kristis on the Day of Love
Charalambides Kristis expands the social contribution programme in collaboration with YDEP.
Charalambidis Christis, in cooperation with the Welfare Benefits Management Service (YDEP) of the Deputy Ministry of Social Welfare, presented, during a press conference, the expanded social contribution programme “NO ONE WITHOUT MILK”, which broadens the company’s existing support for children to include vulnerable groups of all ages.
The event was held in A+ Multipurpose Event Space, in the presence of representatives of the State, the media and partners, highlighting the importance of public-private cooperation to create meaningful social impact.
The conference was opened by Mrs. Sotiroulla Sotiriou, Marketing & Corporate Image Manager of the company, who referred to Charalambides Kristis's long-standing commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility. As emphasized, since 2013, CSR has been a tangible commitment for the company, while the announcement of social contribution programmes on the Day of Love has now become an established tradition. At the same time, she presented the philosophy of the company's new multidimensional campaign that will run in all media with a central message: For our own good, we give our best.
Subsequently, Mr. Christos Diomidous, Welfare Allowance Management Official A', presented the programme “NO ONE WITHOUT MILK”, analyzing its objectives and scope. The programme is an extension of the “No Child Without Milk” initiative and aims to ensure daily access to basic nutritional goods for vulnerable social groups.
Through the expanded program, 6,000 beneficiaries receive free certified milk, ensuring access to a basic everyday food commodity and effectively strengthening social care, dignity and support for households that need it most.
A greeting from the Head of YDEP, Mr. Ioannis Vasiliadis followed, who emphasized the importance of partnerships between the State and the private sector, noting that such synergies strengthen the effectiveness of social policy.
Closing the conference, the Chairman of Charalambides Kristis, Mr. Alexis Charalambides stressed that the “NO ONE WITHOUT MILK” programme is an integral part of the company's philosophy, reaffirming its commitment to consistently support society with respect, reliability, and a human-centered approach. “For us, milk is not just a product. It is care. It is health. It is everyday dignity and we want to ensure that something so simple, yet so essential, like a glass of milk, is not missing from any home.”
