With the slogan, "A victory for life", the event "Simultaneous Breastfeeding 2014", was held on Saturday, October 4th, 2014, organized for the 8th consecutive year by the Pancyprian Breastfeeding Association "Life Gift" and was supported by Charalambides Christis within the context of the social solidarity and practical contribution programme, "SYMMETOCHI".
The event is under the auspice of the Minister of Health Mr Filippos Patsalis and the Cyprus National Breastfeeding Committee and it is a part of the World Breastfeeding Week. This is an initiative with an international dimension, as respective events take place simultaneously in 250 centres located in 9 different countries.
Registration begins at 10:00 am. while Simultaneous Breastfeeding takes place at 11:00 am. The venues of the event are as follows:

The theme of this year's events, as defined by the World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action (WABA), focused on society's full support for breastfeeding mothers to achieve continued breastfeeding which is considered to be a Life Gift.
