Easy Pistachio Dessert!

  • 1 package of Chrysi Zymi Puff Pastry for pies
  • 4 spoons Butter (melted)
  • 3 spoons of Sugar
  • 500 g. Pistachios (roasted and crushed)

For the syrup

  • 2 cups of Water
  • 2 cups of Sugar
  • 2 Cinnamon sticks


  1. Put the ingredients for the syrup in a saucepan and place it on the fire.
  2. Stir well with a whisk and let it boil until it bubbles.
  3. Then, remove it from the heat and set aside to cool.  
  4. Next, take the puff pastry sheets one by one and butter them with a brush.
  5. Sprinkle each with sugar and pistachios. Twist the pastry by lightly folding it along its length, creating a horn.
  6. Take them one by one and place them in a circle in a baking dish.
  7. When you finish the process, pour the remaining butter on top of the horns.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven, at 190 degrees, for 25-35 minutes, until the dessert is golden-brown.
  9. Finally, take the dish out of the oven and immediately pour the cold syrup over it.
