Ingredients
- ¼ L.Charalambides Christis Fresh Milk Light
- ¼ L. Charalambides Christis Dairy Cream
- 120g. Sugar
- 1 teaspoon of Vanilla extract
- 4 egg yolks
- 1 pinch of salt
- A little granulated sugar for the topping
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine the milk with half the sugar, the dairy cream and the vanilla extract. Cook until it begins to simmer.
- Once the cream begins to simmer, remove it from the heat, place it on the kitchen counter and let it cool down.
- In a bowl, mix the other half of the sugar with the egg yolks using a whisk.
- Slowly add the mixture to the egg yolk mixture and stir well.
- Place the mixture in ramekin bowls and bake at 150 degrees on the heating elements option, in a bain-marie for 40 minutes or at 110 degrees in the fan option without a bain-marie for 1 hour.
- Finally, when they cool down, sprinkle them with the granulated sugar and heat the sugar with a torch, giving an even colour to your cream.
