French Toast Sandwiches with Charalambides Christis Milk

Ingredients
4 slices of bread (for toasting)
2 eggs
100 ml Charalambides Christis Fresh Milk Full Fat, 3% Fat
1 pinch of salt
Butter for the pan
For the filling
Sweet:
Hazelnut spread or peanut butter
Banana or strawberry slices
Savory:
2 slices of melting cheese
2 slices of turkey or bacon
Instructions
- First, assemble the sandwiches: place the filling between 2 slices of bread and press to seal well.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and salt.
- Carefully dip each sandwich into the mixture (on both sides).
- Cook over medium heat with a little butter for 3–4 minutes on each side, until golden brown and the filling has melted.
- Cut diagonally and serve warm.
