Fruit Sando with Charalambides Christis Cream
Ingredients
• 4 slices of white bread
• 2 ½ figs, peeled and halved
• 2 pieces of peach (from compote)
• 250 ml Charalambides Christis Dairy Cream with 35% fat
Instructions
1. In a bowl, whisk the cream with the sugar until it becomes whipped cream.
2. Remove the crusts from the bread and place the first slice in the centre of a piece of plastic wrap.
3. Spread about 1½ tablespoons of whipped cream on the bread. Place the figs — one in the centre and the rest around it.
4. Spread a second layer of whipped cream over the fruit and cover with another slice of bread. Spread a little whipped cream around the edges to fill any gaps, then wrap the sandwich tightly with the plastic wrap.
5. Use a marker to draw a line on the wrap where you’ll cut the sandwich later.
6. Repeat the same process with the peaches.
7. Refrigerate for about 25 minutes.
8. Slice along the marked line and enjoy.
