Ingredients
- 250 g. Charalambides Christis margarine Original (melted)
- 4 eggs
- 450 g. biscuits (ground into powder)
- 500 g. walnuts (coarsely chopped)
- 200 g. powdered sugar
- 3 tablespoons of Cocoa
- 3 tablespoons of Cognac
- 1 sachet of vanilla
- 600 g. melted couverture chocolate for the topping
Instructions
- In a mixer bowl, beat the eggs and powdered sugar at high speed for 10 minutes until foamy and creamy.
- Remove the bowl from the mixer and add the melted margarine, then the cocoa powder, ground biscuits, cognac, vanilla, and finally the chopped walnuts. Knead well with your hands until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- Divide the dough into 4 pieces and shape each piece into a roll. Wrap each roll in cling film, twisting the edges like candy wrappers to compress the rolls and achieve a better shape.
- Transfer the rolls to the freezer for 2 hours.
- After freezing, remove the cling film and cut each roll into thick slices using a sharp knife.
- Dip each slice into the melted couverture chocolate (melted in a bain-marie) until fully coated.
- Place the chocolate-coated slices back into the freezer for 30 minutes to set.
- Serve and enjoy!
