Hot custard cream with crushed gingerbread cookies!

Ingredients

For the cream:

  •  Charalambides Christis Fresh Milk Full Fat, 3%, 1 ltr.
  • 250g sugar
  • 4 medium-sized eggs
  • 60 g. corn flour
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. butter
For the garnish:
  • Crushed gingerbread cookies

Instructions

  1. Add the milk, sugar, and vanilla in a pot and boil over medium heat.
  2. In a bowl, whisk the eggs and corn flour.
  3. Just before the milk reaches boiling temperature, remove from heat and slowly add it to the egg mixture while whisking.
  4. After adding half of the milk to the eggs, transfer the whole mixture back to the pot and boil over medium heat.
  5. Boil the cream and continue whisking at the same time until it thickens.
  6. Turn off the heat, add the butter, mix, and serve in bowls.
  7. Garnish with crushed gingerbread cookies and enjoy your custard cream hot or cold.
