Ingredients
- 233ml Charalambides Christis Fresh Milk Full Fat
- 100ml Charalambides Christis Dairy Cream
- 26g. corn flour
- 53g. sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 egg
- 1 sp. vanilla extract
PUFF PASTRY
- 200g. Chrysi Zymi Butter Puff Pastry
- 10g. sliced almonds
- 15g. sugar
GARNISH
- strawberries
- blueberries
Instructions
- In a baking dish, place a parchment paper and place the pieces from one of the puff pastry sheets in strips of approximately 10cm X 5cm, sprinkle them with sugar, and place the almond slices on top.
- Place another sheet of parchment paper on top of the puff pastry.
- Then, put a heavy object on top to keep them from rising and bake them in the oven at 190C for 40 minutes.
- In a pot, pour milk, cream, sugar, and vanilla and stir until it comes to a boil.
- Add the egg, egg yolks, and corn flour in a bowl and stir with a wire whisk.
- Slowly pour the warm milk into the eggs and mix. Put it in the refrigerator to cool.
- Flatten the baked pieces from the puff pastry with a knife.
- When the cream has cooled, begin stacking. Place one piece of baked puff pastry-cream-strawberries and blueberries, and then another piece of baked puff pastry, to make two layers, and on top of that, add the cream with strawberries and blueberries.
