Ingredients
- 150 g. Powdered sugar
- 200 g. Charalambides Christis Margarine Original (at room temperature)
- 1 Egg
- 300 g. All-purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon of Baking Powder
- 1 pinch of Salt
- 250 g. Raspberry or strawberry jam
Instructions
- In a mixer bowl, put all the ingredients together (except the jam) and knead them with the paddle, so that they are mixed well for a single dough to be made.
- Then take the dough and spread it in a rectangular or square baking dish (20 x 20 cm), keeping some of the dough aside to make the cords that are placed over the pasta flora.
- When the dough is spread inside the dish, transfer it to the refrigerator for a while to firm up.
- When it is ready, spread the jam over the dough, leaving a gap of 1 cm.
- Take the rest of the dough and form thick cords and arrange them in a criss-cross pattern over the jam.
- Finally, bake the pasta flora in a preheated oven at 170 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
