Savoury Tart with Yoghurt, Fresh Milk & Thyme
Ingredients
• 1 sheet puff pastry
• 200 ml Charalambides Christis Fresh Milk Full Fat, 3% Fat
• 150 g Straggato Yoghurt Authentic Charalambides Christis
• 2 eggs
• 150 g Charalambides Christis Four-Grated Cheeses
• 100 g all-purpose flour
• 1 small zucchini (thinly sliced)
• ½ tsp dried thyme
• Salt & pepper
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
2. Line a tart pan with the puff pastry, covering the bottom and sides. Prick the base with a fork and blind bake for about 10 minutes, until lightly golden.
3. In a large bowl, whisk together the milk, yoghurt, eggs, cheese, thyme, and flour until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
4. Pour the mixture over the partially baked crust and arrange the zucchini slices on top.
5. Bake for another 25–30 minutes, until the surface is golden and the filling has set.
6. Let the tart rest for 10 minutes before serving.
