Feta Charalambides Christis Saganaki with Honey and Sesame!

Ingredients

  • 400g Charalambides Christis Feta
  •  2 Eggs
  •  4 tablespoons Flour
  • 300 gr. Sesame seeds
  •  Olive oil for frying
  • Honey for serving

Instructions

  1. Cut the two pieces of feta in half and roll them into the flour for the cheese liquid to be absorbed.
  2. Crack the eggs into a bowl and beat them well. Next, dip the pieces of feta one by one and roll each piece into the sesame seeds.
  3. Place the saganaki (fried cheese) in a pan with baking paper and put them in the freezer for 40 minutes.
  4. Then, fry them in olive oil over medium to high heat for a few minutes until the crust is nicely coloured on all sides.
  5. Finally, serve the feta saganaki (fried feta) with a drizzle of honey on top.
