Yoghurt Mousse with Straggato Yoghurt | Charalambides Christis

It is without a doubt, a mousse that everybody will enjoy! It is a light and tasty dessert that can be made either in a big bowl or in 6 separate cups.

Ingredients

  • 500 ml Charalambides Christis Dairy Cream
  • 600 g. Straggato Yogurt Authentic Charalambides Christis
  • 300 g. of sugar
  • 600 ml of fresh orange juice
  • 2 sachets of gelatin (20 gr.) dissolved in 150 g. boiled water
  • 40 g. finely chopped pistachio nuts (pistachios)
  • Orange slices for decoration

Instructions

  1. Pour the dairy cream into the mixer bowl. Beat on high speed for 3-4 minutes, until it is fluffy and whipped.
  2. Pour the Straggato Yoghurt Authentic Charalambides Christis in the mixer bowl with a whisk until it is well mixed with the Charalambides Christis Dairy Cream.
  3. In a bowl, add the sugar, orange juice and the dissolved gelatin. Mix well to dissolve the sugar.
  4. Transfer the mixture into the bowl with the cream and the yoghurt. Stir until it is smooth enough.
  5. Transfer the cream into a bowl and refrigerate for 4 hours to chill and stiffen.
  6. To serve, sprinkle on the surface of the cream the finely chopped pistachios and a few slices of orange for decoration.
